How we construct your investment portfolio for you
When you first come to us, we will make sure we understand exactly what you want from your investments in terms of income, growth, risk, wealth preservation, and timescales. We also explain the risks of investing, and our reporting and control structures. Then we can make investments that best match your personal circumstances. Once your portfolio is established, we will keep you regularly informed (via meetings or telephone contact).
We offer management of portfolios on a discretionary basis; that is, clients give us authority to invest on their behalf without needing to pre-authorise each change in the portfolio. This allows us to react in a timely way to both market volatility and changes in personal circumstances.
For most clients, we recommend that they have a largely-invested and diversified portfolio to best meet their objectives.
