The partners: Mark Arkwright
In the second half of 2008, Mark Arkwright opened in Harrogate Gore Browne Investment Management's first branch office.
Mark's career has been spent very largely in the private client investment management world. After seven years in the Army and accountancy, he became a partner at Wise Speke, a Newcastle-based private client investment manager and remained there until 1995 with responsibility for their Yorkshire-based clients. From 1995 until January 2008, Mark was at Border Asset Management in Kirkby Lonsdale and Harrogate, for the most part as Chief Executive Officer.
